Happy New Year (and something about the AQC 2015)

We've had a mental 2013, with lots of ups and downs, but we're looking forward to a nice, calm, and relaxed 2014. Ok who am I kidding, knowing us it will be as crazy as usual. Since I'm not doing any work with fabric until we get to Cairns (we arrive next week) I've been working on a little something for a new set of quilts. I have a little time left to finish off the ones I'm working on and do the one of James's body, but in the meantime I'm sorting out the images and background for a set of quilts to commemorate the Anzac Centenary in 2015.

I'm obviously not certain of size or number yet, but I think there will be around 12 quilts, all 100 cm tall, but varying in width.

The super exciting part is that I've been asked to exhibit them for the first time at the Australian Quilt Convention in 2015! The AQC is held in mid April each year in Melbourne.

I'll be posting lots of info on the quilts in the coming months, and as always I love hearing your ideas and opinions so please don't hold back.
